I’ve recently really gotten into those trashy Housewives shows on my Direct TV. I was never much for reality TV but since I really got into BRAVO and that’s practically all they air I’ve actually had a good time getting to know all the characters. Right now I’m really all about the Beverly Hills cast because they’re actually so RICH and the drama in their lives seems a bit more real than for some of the other shows. The Jersey girls are pretty real too but I’m not so sure they’d like to admit that if they had to. I don’t know why networks keep paying people like this to be on TV but I guess part of the reason is that chumps like me give up their evenings to watch these shows! I wouldn’t have said I’d be into the drama like I am but you know, I guess at the end of the day you never know what you really like until you try everything, at least that’s what they say!
I have become spoiled in a way that when I crave for food I spend money to get it even if it is not available in stores near me. I have become a pest to some people asking them to help me find the stuff I want then send it to me. I, of course, pay for shipping. But the people I asked to get me the food I want are the ones who have to go to the store and shop for me. I know I should be ashamed of myself but strangely I have not felt that yet, lol. I guess when it comes to food I will do anything and everything to get it. Hence the husband telling me I have an addiction to food. Only certain kind, mind you. I do not eat food just because it is food. It has to be good and palatable enough for me. I still prefer the kind of food I grew up eating which actually lead me to asking for favors left and right because the food I want to eat are hard to find where I live. Take for example a box of goodies that my brother send me which costed him almost a hundred dollars to send. The items inside the box did not even cost half of the shipping fee. But since Ate wanted the goodies he had to spend his money to look for the items to send me. I will give him compensation for that though even if he does not know it yet. But still, the effort the people I love have to go through just so my spoiled self can be happy. I somehow have to stop this craziness. Maybe in the future.

People are still afraid to buy in Detroit and it’s my job to ensure them that this city is a great place to live. The first hurdle I have to get them over is the fact that it’s so cold here – most of my clients are already from up north so they know how bad it is – and then after that I have to get them over the way the city has been perceived in the last couple of decades. It’s not nearly as dangerous as some home buyers think and I always recommend all kinds of Michigan home security for them so they’ll feel more secure in their new home. The truth is that you can get an absolutely amazing deal on a house here right now and that’s what people want in this market. I’m not selling any houses at this price point but I know there are people in the community who have bought homes for less than $10,000. And yes, you read that number correctly! It’s that cheap.
When a friend told me how much her and her husband pay for car insurance, I was shocked. They are paying too much considering they have not made a single claim nor do they have any traffic violations. I told her to shop around because she might just be able to find discount auto insurance for their cars then they will not have to pay a huge premium. I also told her there should be an affordable car insurance that fits her and her husband's need. She said she will do just that, shop around to be able to save money. I know what it's like to pay a lot for car insurance. Just last year we paid almost twice than what we are paying now before we switched providers. The switch did us good because we need the extra money.
I hope my friend will find what she is looking for, an affordable car insurance so they will not be out a lot of money. It will be best if she starts by getting free auto policy quotes so she will know her options. We are happy with our provider now and even gave her the name but she might want a different one. At least I gave her an option. I hope she will find a good deal.

I logged onto HomeSecurityFamily.com this morning to look into getting an alarm system. After talking to my husband, we decided to make an appointment to have a security system installed next week. We met for lunch at one of my favorite little lunch places around the corner from where I work. He rarely gets to get away for lunch, so when I called him to see if he could meet me and talk about some things that we have to get finished before we move to our new house that we built, I was delighted! We ended up taking a long lunch. I had my favorite salad and he had the quiche special. I even drank a glass of wine and had a piece of cake before heading back to work. I was totally more relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the day after my day date with my husband. Now I understand why Europeans love to take long lunches, even on the week days! I think that we should adopt this leisurely lunch mentality. I would definitely enjoy working more.

One of the first things that I ever learned how to cook was stir fry. It's just so easy and pretty healthy for you. Plus, it doesn't require all that much planning. I just love being able to not think all that much about what you're cooking so that you can enjoy it and the food rather than slave over a hot stove and then gobble up all the food you slaved over in about five minutes. Plus, it's especially important for me to me wiser with my time because I'm a college student and have more important things to do than cook.
But I also like to cook more things than just stir fry. I was online not too long ago looking for some simple recipes that I could also make in the dorm. While I was doing that I saw the site INTERNET.CLEAR.com and decided to pass it onto my mom. We could use a better internet service at home.
History represent our past, and often gives clues as to what our future may hold. History gives us insights into what people were doing in days gone by, and often trinkets and valuable items are left behind for modern day people to discover. Because of this fact, I greatly enjoy the show American Pickers that I watch regularly on History Channel over my satellite TV.(www.expertsatellite.com!)
The show traces the daily activities of two brothers who travel across the country, often in rural areas, locating and buying various bits of Americana and antiques from people's barns, houses, sheds, or anywhere else they keep old treasures. These are then sold (often after some restoration) by the brothers to interested antique lovers. The show is fascinating because it gives a fascinating and informative insight into what items and knick-knacks were bought and used in America's past. The dynamic between the brothers keeps the show fresh and interesting and the many characters they meet along their travels gives a wide slice of American rural life.
The show is both informative and entertaining is well worth checking out.
