short visit



Today turned out to be a beautiful day considering the temp was in the lower 40's this morning. We went to the beach to check what it looked like after a forecast of coastal flooding yesterday. Nothing much changed. We stayed for about an hour just sitting in the car watching the ocean. I did get out and walked in the water while the husband looked on. He had to stay in the car with the little man. The water was colder than normal but when you were in it for a while it kinds of grow on you. You can't feel the cold anymore for some reason. Perhaps my feet got numbed? Lol. Anyway, I am glad we went after being in bed all morning. The husband and I are not feeling good but we went out anyway hoping the ocean breeze will work its wonders on us and make us feel better.
