Termites are pests. If you are not careful enough this bugs will deteriorate your house to a point that when you try to sell it no seller will buy it if it has been infested with it. It is awful dealing with termites. I should know because my father's house was infested with it and it took him a long time to get rid of the termites. Formosan termites are worse. This specie grows into large colonies and consumes wood at a rapid rate. Do you know what states formosan termites live in the US? I was surprised to know that South Carolina is one of them. Goodness, we have to be extra careful and check every now and then to make sure we don't get any of these pests. It is also found in Texas and Florida.
