In a few hours it will be the beginning of the new year. What are you planning to do tonight? Are you going to attend a party to welcome the new year? Or will you just stay home with the family? Whatever you do, stay safe and enjoy. We are just staying home and will welcome the new year in silence. It would be fun to buy fireworks and light them in the yard but I don't know if it is allowed where we live. The US is not like the Philippines where you can just buy and light fireworks anytime, anywhere. I am sure my parents bought some to light in an hour. They are thirteen hours ahead so it is almost new year in Leyte right now. I hope they are having a grand time even if my brother and his family are not there anymore. Happy New Year everyone! May we will have more blessings in the coming year. And hopefully, there will be peace and harmony in the world. This may sound cliche but we really need it right now.
