tutorial?

Since I started blogging, I have read and researched about what to do if I want my blogs to stay live as long as I want. And I discovered that the best way to go is to get a web hosting account paid for and owned by me. Sadly, I cannot afford to have one right now for financial and personal reasons. But I have read a lot of web hosting articles that my head hurts trying to digest all the information at once. I am not and will never be a tech person so I am having a hard time. Hence I am still using the free blog platform. I am not ashamed of doing so either but I know I have to have the courage (and the money) if I want to keep up with this addiction. I have blogs everywhere in the blogosphere right now. Some are free blogs while others I paid the domains but somebody else is hosting it (bless her heart!).

I have plans, as I often said enough. Later I will have to have my own web hosting account because I can't impose on a friend for a long time no matter how accomodating she is. She is paying for everything and I am just freeloading which I am not really proud about. I told her to give me time because I need it to save enough for an account and to know more to where I don't have to panic everytime there is a glitch on my webhosting account. The thought of cPanels already makes my head spin. What more if I have to do it by myself? Or even with customer support. I need to have web hosting tutorials, preferably a step by step introduction to make sure I am doing things right. The rate I am doing this it will probably take years before I will have my own account.
