The husband printed out a few pages of the list of horses which are set to run for the Kentucky Derby. He crossed possible winners and losers, told me how to read the information contained in the papers, called his sister if she bet on any of the horses, and decided not to bet. Mind boggling, lol. He had the information days ago and I was thinking he will bet again but he changed his mind. We have different choices which he said that my choice will end up third and his first. I urged him to bet but he will not do it. He does not want to spend money because he said he cannot bet with just a few dollars. Well, I did not force him no more

His parents were from Kentucky although he was born in California and was raised in Indiana. Which explains his fondness for anything that happens in Kentucky especially this prestigious event. I have been bugging him for us to attend the state fair but I have not been lucky so far. He has a valid reason though, we live hundreds of miles away from the state. We don't even go to the state fair where we are at even at the local fair here. Anyway, I hope the husband is not right with his choice so he will not feel too bad that he did not bet on it.
