I cooked champorado earlier and it looks so good. I am waiting for it to cool off and then it will be mine and bubby's merienda. I love this snacks which is made by cooking sweet rice porridge style and then adding chocolate on it until the flavors blend. Some use sugar to sweeten it more but I like milk on it. Yummy! Now I don't know if this is a healthy snack but all I know is that it is so good and I have been craving for it ever since I got here in the US. Bubby likes it too. Only goes to show he is a filipino.  It is a good thing too so I don't have to worry about what to prepare for him when he is ready to eat table food all the time.
