We went to the stepdaughter's house today to bring the stuff that were in the storage shed in our backyard. The husband got a new lease in the mail the other day from the landlord and she had emphasized things she did not want in or around the duplex we are living and to make her happy the husband and I (with the help of his son) are starting to clean up. Not that the place is a mess but the things she said yes before are now a no-no. Amazing how she changed her mind after a year of us living in her property. We are grateful for the stepson because he did all the lifting since his father cannot lift anything due to his injury. He instructed us what to do and I helped as much as I could but I can only do and lift so much especially with the little man running around unattended inside the house. We did a pretty good job though and we are sure when she comes to inspect the place she will be happy. Now, she knew our complaints from the apartment complex we lived in prior to living here and she assured us she is different and will not put us in a hard spot but she is doing the exact same thing to us. To think that we are good renters. We pay on time and we do not complain at all. The husband fixed everything there was to fix instead of complaining to her. We did not even have a good running Ac all summer long last year. But anyway, to make her happy we had to do some changes. Let us all hope she will not find anything else to complain about or else it might be time to move on.
