a big help




Ever since we moved down south, the phone book has been a lot of help for us. We used it to find a store which sells Kirby vacuum bags among other things. We had to look for the said brand because the husband prefers it than other brands. It took me a long time to search for a store but when I found one it was worth it. I must admit I like it being handy but when I learned that there is better alternative to the phone book then I am changing my tune  Local.com is a local search engine which is a hybrid between Citysearch.com, Yelp.com, Yellowpages.com, and Superages.com. A comprehensive site to find the place or business you are looking for. It is the local yellowpages which is good if a person is bent to search for local businesses.

This means local search will be easier for me to do in case the husband and I needs to find a store or local restaurants which we have not tried before. I love to eat out even if he does not but he usually humors me and gives in anyway. It will be fun to try and use the service one of these days.
