The stepdaughter and her husband have life insurance. They said it is for their kids' future in case something happens to them. They started by getting life insurance quotes and then comparing life insurance rates. She wanted to know which company will give them the best benefits at affordable prices. She scouted for a long time until she was satisfied with her research. It has been about two years now since they have life insurance and she had been bugging the husband and I to get one too. She said it is not being morbid or anything but as adults we have to think of our kids' welfare. In a way, I like her idea. The only problem is I don't know if we can afford it. There are so many bills to pay and a lot of things to pay besides.

I am thinking, when we we have enough to pay for it, term life insurance sounds nice. It never hurts to have some kind of security for the future. I just hope the husband will be fine with it. The last time the stepdaughter talked to him about the advantage of having life insurance he wouldn't hear of it. He is afraid of what my father said to him when they talked before I got married, lol. I think I will start my own research and see what I will come up with.
